These terms describe your use of Megasol, Receipt AI, households, subscriptions, and scan packs.

By using Megasol, you agree to these terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
You can use core features locally without an account. A Megasol account is required for sync, households, Receipt AI, scan balances, and cross-device purchases.
You are responsible for protecting access to your email and devices and for providing accurate information. Automated, abusive, or unauthorized use of an account is prohibited.
You retain rights to the data and images you provide. You grant Megasol only the rights needed to provide, sync, and analyze content at your request.
Active household members can view and, as provided by the app, edit or delete shared expenses and recurring costs. Invite only people you trust. Requests and settlements record private arrangements; Megasol is not a payment service and does not transfer money.
Receipt AI assists with expense entry. Results may be incomplete or incorrect and are not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Review the amount, merchant, date, and category before saving.
Reasonable scan, attempt, and upload limits protect the service from abuse and unnecessary cost. Successful scans are counted according to your active plan or available scan balance.
Purchases are processed exclusively through your Apple Account and the App Store. Prices, taxes, confirmations, and refunds follow Apple’s displayed terms.
Megasol Plus renews automatically unless cancelled in App Store settings. After cancellation, access remains active through the paid period. Scan packs are one-time, account-linked purchases; unused credits do not expire while the Megasol account remains open.
Restore Purchases can reconnect active, restorable subscriptions from your Apple Account. Consumable scan packs are not restored by Apple; their remaining balance is held with your Megasol account.
We work to provide a secure and reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, network failures, App Store systems, or third-party services may temporarily limit features.
We may evolve features and limits for security, cost control, legal compliance, or product improvements. Material adverse changes will be communicated appropriately.
You can delete your account in the app. This removes synced data and remaining account-linked scan credits unless legal retention is required.
Deleting a Megasol account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it separately in App Store settings.
Statutory warranty and liability rules apply. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions based solely on unreviewed AI results, private household arrangements, or information you entered incorrectly.
Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Austrian law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without restricting mandatory protections in your country of residence. Statutory consumer venues remain available.
